A blue plaque is to be put up in Market Bosworth to mark the birthplace of revolutionary 1960s guitarist Davey Graham, pictured here in Marrakesh in 2008, the year he died The revered instrumentalist, who has been cited as influencing the likes of Jimmy Page, Martin Carthy and Paul Simon, began life at Bosworth Park Infirmary, the remains of which can be seen at Bosworth Hall hotel. A blue plaque to mark his arrival, on November 26 1940 is to be unveiled at the hotel on what would have been his 76th birthday this year.
