Disturbed's Grammy-nominated version of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" has been featured in a video released by NASA that was filmed aboard the International Space Station during Expedition 53. Captured by space station Commander Randy Bresnik and flight engineers Sergey Ryazanskiy and Paolo Nespoli, the video features stunning footage of Earth and outer space from the space station's orbit 250 miles above Earth. Disturbed's double-platinum rendition of "The Sound Of Silence" spent seven straight weeks at #1 on Rock Radio, earning a Grammy nomination for the Best Rock performance category for "The Sound of Silence " and amassing more than 68 million views to date.
