Just a reminder that the eighth annual Record Store Day takes place this Saturday, April 18. As always, the initiative features a wide variety of limited-edition vinyl-only releases that are available exclusively at independent record shops around the U.S. and in other countries too. Among the many veteran artists who will be issuing collectible discs in conjunction with the campaign are Paul McCartney , Brian Wilson , The Bee Gees , Bruce Springsteen , U2 , Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan .
