The average price from Cardiff to Swansea is around A 2.75 each way, but at least one fare on each bus trip will cost less than A 1. Original Greyhound buses were featured in classic films starring Clark Gable and Audrey Hepburn, as well as in songs by Simon and Garfunkel. Greyhound was bought by FirstGroup last year and has since focused on building its London link with the south coast, but said when it announced the link that building its Welsh service had been a "strategic aim".
