James Blake has covered folk duo Simon & Garfunkel , with help from Bon Iver 's Justin Vernon. 'The Sound of Silence' was originally written and released in 1964, with Blake and Vernon airing their rendition on the former's BBC Radio 1 Residency Show on Thursday .
